Inverter Generator Honda EU70is
Home backup, offices, filming and photography, survey vehicles, tradesmen, emergency services, lighting, computing etc. These are the areas of possible use of the EU70iS all-capacitor, quiet and economical power supply unit with excellent output voltage quality. Under the bonnet is a "High-Tech" inverter technology that has enabled the machine, weighing about 118 kg, to produce 230V/50Hz at the highest possible quality and 7 KW output. The extremely economical injection motor starts at the touch of a button on the control panel. The electrical voltage produced is of the highest possible quality. Almost inaudible operation is most appreciated in places where quiet or minimal noise is required and a very high quality power supply is required.

Gasoline internal combustion engines are the backbone of Honda's production program, which laid the foundation for the entire power machinery manufacturing division, i.e. Honda Power Equipment. The history of the production of internal combustion engines for powering work equipment began in 1953. In a short time, Honda internal combustion engines have built a reputation as market leaders. The production of these engines is also what makes Honda the world's largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines. Today, industrial engines are the unequivocal leader among powerplants for small construction, agricultural, garden and other equipment. They are the only ones that can handle the enormous stresses of professional operation in the harsh conditions of construction sites in machines such as concrete cutting equipment, vibratory machinery, power generators and pumps, as well as in the agricultural, forestry and horticultural sectors. Industrial professional engines were historically deployed at Honda in the 1950s as power units for generators and rotavators. Other applications followed, and today you'll find the Honda engine across the entire spectrum of motorized machinery offerings.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
A Honda power pack is a device that meets all the safety requirements for electrical power packs in terms of protection against possible electric shock. Each power station can be fitted with a surge protector on request at an additional cost. When used in accordance with the operating instructions, the power station is completely safe in design and equipment and there is no danger. In the event of a significant overload of the power unit beyond its maximum capacity or in the event of a short circuit, the relevant socket circuit breaker of the socket (push-button circuit breaker) is automatically switched off and the socket is disconnected. For inverter power units, overload is indicated by a red indicator light and subsequent disconnection of the alternator from the outlet panel. The standard rating of the power centres is IP23, but if operating conditions require, a higher rating of IP54 can be selected.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION OF TWO POWER PLANTS
The main advantages of inverter technology include the possibility of simultaneous operation or "phasing" of two identical power generators. By using special interconnection cables for parallel operation, two identical power generators can be connected to each other and thus obtain twice the electrical output. Depending on the current demand, this ensures that a larger appliance can be powered without having to replace the power pack with a larger and heavier one. Conversely, the two power packs can also be disconnected from each other and used separately.
ELECTRIC START
A simple and convenient system that allows you to start the engine by simply turning the ignition key as in a car. Of course, a manual reverse starter is usually available with an electric starter. For machines powered by a two-cylinder engine, this is the electric starter version only. It is also important that the starter battery does not need to be recharged with a special charger, but is recharged automatically when the engine is running. The electric start is a prerequisite for the use of e.g. an electric generator as a backup power supply with automatic start.
ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM
The motor produces certain vibrations during operation, the magnitude of which depends on the load level. The motor and alternator assembly is housed in a protective support frame in which the power pack stands during operation. In order to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the frame of the power unit and thus to avoid an unstable position on the surface and an increased noise level of the power unit, the motor of the power unit is mounted on steel-rubber silent blocks with a 45° inclination, which ensures a perfect shielding of the transmission of vibrations from the motor to the supporting frame of the power unit. The frame power unit is thus quiet during operation and there is no increase in noise from the vibrating power unit support frame. In addition, the case-mounted, sound-absorbing electrocentrifuges stand on flexible rubber feet, which additionally eliminate residual vibrations transmitted to the substrate.
NOISE REDUCTION
Noise is an important parameter that directly affects the possibility of using the power plant. The lower the operating noise, the wider the possibilities of using the power generator. Efficient exhaust silencers on the motors are standard on Honda power units. Another level of sound reduction is to partially bonnet the power unit and use a more efficient and larger muffler. The highest degree of soundproofing is provided by full-capoverage inverter-type power units, which are also fitted with a special integrated silencer. Efficient vibration absorption also contributes to a significant reduction in noise, which is solved by multiple vibration damping using the power pack motor mounting system.
EXTENSION OF OPERATING TIME
The ideal power generator is one that is able to provide not only top performance and reliability, but also economical operation and the ability to run continuously for long periods without the need for refuelling. That's why selected models of power centres are equipped with devices such as Eco-ThrottleTM, which automatically adjusts the engine speed to the exact load and current consumption. This achieves maximum fuel savings. Honda petrol engines are renowned for, among other things, achieving exceptionally low fuel consumption over the long term and, when equipped with a large fuel tank, the power plant can easily provide up to 20 hours of autonomous operation.
INVERTER
Inverter power units computer modulate both the voltage waveform and magnitude as well as the frequency stability without depending on the motor speed and thus provide an electric current of extremely high quality. Inverter technology enables the construction of an exceptionally compact power generator with an alternator almost half the size and weight of conventional power generators with other output voltage controls of the same power output. Inverter power generators are ideal for powering highly sensitive electronic equipment such as computers, providing optimized electrical power for both reaction-type appliances and electronic devices. This also ensures maximum performance and long life of the powered appliances. Inverter power units are exclusively manufactured in fully soundproof, hooded or case-type designs with minimal noise, very low weight and fuel consumption.
CHASSIS OF HOODED ELECTRIC GENERATORS
For easy transport of the power generator to the workplace and easy handling without the need for more people, larger models of hooded power generators are equipped with a transport chassis. Some models of small size power centres can be fitted with a transport chassis at an additional cost.
