Behind the low weight and compact dimensions is a "high-tech" inverter technology that enables the "case", which weighs only approx. 27 kg, to generate 230V / 50Hz in the highest possible quality and 3.2 KW of power. The electrical voltage generated is of the same or often even higher quality and more stable than that available from the public grid. The almost inaudible operation and easy transport are highly appreciated e.g. at garden parties or in caravan parks, along bodies of water or anywhere where quiet or minimal noise is important.
The EU 32i lightweight suitcase power pack: The smallest and lightest model of single-phase inverter power packs in this category. Patented inverter technology has enabled Honda to produce a compact and lightweight generator of small size but high power with a finely tuned and stable output voltage waveform using precision electronics. To power this powerhouse, Honda has developed an all-new, easy-to-start, fuel-injected GX130 engine cleverly "wrapped" in an attractive, sound-attenuated cowl design. The use of modern technology makes it possible to monitor the current status of the power unit "remotely" via Bluetooth.
HIGH AND CLEAN PERFORMANCE IN A LIGHTWEIGHT CASING
This small, lightweight and impeccably soundproofed gasoline AC generator is designed with its power and output voltage quality primarily for powering small and medium-sized devices such as lighting, hand-held power tools, monitors, computers, camera systems or devices with very sensitive electronics. With its compact size and low weight, it is suitable for mobile workshops, repair, measuring or monitoring vehicles in the field, as well as for powering various devices in the garden, workshop, flat or holiday home, on the boat or in the caravan. The entire unit is housed in a well-silenced plastic "casing" anchored in flexible silent blocks, and the entire power unit also stands on flexible rubber "feet". Due to the compactness, shape and weight of the "case", the power unit is equipped with an ergonomic transport handle and practical mouldings on the underside of the casing to facilitate gripping and handling. Transporting and handling the electric centrifuge is no problem even for an averagely fit user. The motor is controlled by an electronic control unit that precisely doses the motor power depending on the current consumption. This significantly reduces fuel consumption and noise levels. On the other hand, the operating time per refuelling and the service life of the power generator are considerably extended. The control and operation of the generator is very easy and simple. Only 2 steps are required to start: turn the switch on the control panel to the on position and pull the starter handle. That's all. No choke, fuel tap, etc. Next to the switch on the control panel of the genset, you will find 2 Schuko sockets (16A 230V) with thermal circuit breakers, sockets for connecting the jumper cable, fuel gauge, operation (green) and lubrication (red) indicator, overload indicator (red), Bluetooth indicator and ECO-THROTTLE switch for automatic engine control. Simply refuel, place the unit on a flat surface, start by pulling the hand starter handle, wait a few seconds for the engine to settle and plug the unit into the appropriate socket.
The Bluetooth connection with a smartphone enables remote monitoring of the battery status via an app as well as engine shutdown. On the mobile phone, the user can thus monitor, for example, the amount of fuel remaining, the remaining operating time, the power provided, malfunction and maintenance information, etc. The all-new GX130 engine is based on Honda's engine design experience in small motorbikes. It is representative of modern gasoline engines that meet stringent emission and noise regulations. The engine design is unique in its conception in the field of machines and absolutely trend-setting. The Honda GX130 single-cylinder OHC engine features electronic fuel injection, a three-way catalytic converter with lambda probe and, thanks to the use of completely new materials, is the lightest, cleanest and most economical engine in its class. The EU32i can also easily run on gasoline with a higher ethanol content under the E10 designation. The engine meets all electrical safety requirements and is equipped with protective devices such as engine oil leakage protection and alternator overload protection. In the event of an overload, the red overload warning light on the control panel is activated and the power is automatically cut off while the engine is still running. Simply disconnect the unit from the mains, switch off the engine and restart it after a few seconds. The control unit will be "reset" and everything will be OK again. Do not use a device that has overloaded the power supply and use a device with an input power equal to that of the power supply. However, it is possible to connect two identical EU32i power packs with a special cable to double the possible power supply. The construction of the power pack is sufficiently robust and stable, it does not warp and reliably dampens the vibrations of the machine on the ground. This reduces the noise level of the power unit and makes work more pleasant. Maintenance of the power tool is quite simple and consists of basic maintenance of the gasoline engine.
