Lightweight EU 10: model, single-phase power generator with inverter. The patented inverter technology has enabled Honda to produce a compact and lightweight generator of small size but high performance with a tuned and stable output voltage waveform using precision electronics. The powerful alternator is powered by a mini four-stroke GXH 50 series engine with easy starting, all neatly "wrapped" in an attractive, soundproof fairing design.

This small, lightweight and perfectly soundproofed gasoline AC power generator is designed with its power and output voltage quality mainly for powering small appliances such as lighting, handheld power tools, monitors, computers, camera systems or devices with very sensitive electronics. With its compact size and low weight, it is suitable for mobile workshops, repair, measuring or monitoring vehicles for field work, as well as for powering various appliances in the garden, workshop, home or cottage, boat or caravan. The whole unit is housed in a plastic "case" in flexible silentblocks and the whole power unit is built on flexible rubber feet. The motor is controlled by an electronic control unit that precisely doses the motor power depending on the power consumption. This significantly reduces fuel consumption and noise levels. On the other hand, the operating time per refuelling and the lifetime of the power pack is considerably extended. The power plant also provides a DC voltage of 12V for charging car batteries. For this it is necessary to purchase a special charging cable. The control of the power pack is very easy and simple. On the control panel of the power unit you will find, besides one Schuko socket (16A 230V), also a socket for 12V, 8A with thermal fuse, running (green) and lubrication (red) indicator light, overload (red) indicator light and ECO-THROTTLE automatic motor control mode switch. Simply fill the tank, place the power pack on a level surface, start by pulling the hand starter handle, wait a few seconds for the engine to settle and plug the powered appliance into the appropriate socket. The generator meets all electrical safety requirements and is equipped with protective features such as oil leakage protection for the engine and overload protection for the alternator. In the event of an overload of the power pack, the red overload warning light on the control panel is activated and the electrical output is automatically disconnected while the engine is running continuously. Simply disconnect the appliance, switch off the engine and restart the engine after a few seconds. The control unit is "reset" and everything is fine again. Do not use the appliance that has overloaded the power unit and use an appliance with an input power equivalent to that of the power unit. However, it is possible to connect two identical EU10i power packs using a special cable to double the possible power supply capacity. The construction of the "case" is sufficiently robust and solid not to warp and reliably dampens the vibrations from the motor to the substrate. This reduces the noise level of the power pack and makes work more pleasant. Maintenance of the power tool is quite easy and consists of basic maintenance of the petrol engine.
