Air purifier HEYLO HL 400
HL 400 is a design mobile air purifier. It draws in air from the environment, which then passes through a 7-stage filtration system. It can filter viruses, bacteria, odours, pollen and dust from the air. The standard filter box consists of a pre-filter, cold catalyst filter, activated carbon filter, antibacterial filter, H10 main filter (according to EN 1822), UV-A light (sterilization function) and air ionizer. Ideal use in private homes, offices, conference and training rooms, schools and offices, surgeries and fitness centres.

Reduces airborne pathogens
A number of pathogens are usually found in untreated indoor air. This group includes mould spores, bacteria, animal hair and especially house dust allergens (mite excrement, faeces), but also heavy metals, soot and mineral fibres. Large quantities of these suspended substances develop, especially on warm days or during the heating season, and swirl together with the house dust in the room. Once absorbed through the respiratory tract, the particles come into contact with our mucous membranes and cause the familiar allergy symptoms.
Phases of the filtration system:
1. phase:
Prefilter
The pre-filter consists of an aluminium filter that filters coarse dust particles larger than 5 micrometers, such as house dust, flakes, pollen. The filter can be rinsed with water and can therefore be used several times. HEYLO recommends replacing this pre-filter annually.
2. + 3. phase:
Cold catalyst filter
The catalytic decomposition reaction of the cold catalyst does not require UV radiation, high temperatures or high pressure. Under normal temperature conditions, the catalytic reaction can remove formaldehyde, benzene, xylene, TVOC (volatile organic compounds) and other harmful gases. The reaction produces water and carbon dioxide. However, this does not lead to secondary pollution. It is a safe and environmentally friendly product suitable for creating a healthy home. During the catalytic reaction, the cold catalyst itself is not directly involved in the reaction. The function is not changed and is not lost. For this reason, a service life of approximately 5 years can be expected.
Effective formaldehyde filter
The formaldehyde filter with activated carbon removes unwanted odours, gases and substances from the air. It also cleans the air of harmful formaldehyde in a very short time. The substances are absorbed by the activated carbon. Once the filter is saturated, it must be replaced. HEYLO recommends replacing this filter every 6 months. In the case of heavy odour pollution, such as cigarette smoke, more frequent replacement may be useful.
4. + 5. phase:
Antibacterial cotton filter
The antibacterial filter is a precision filter that filters particles with a diameter of 5 microns. The special filter material also features an antibacterial agent that can effectively kill 99% of all bacteria.
High efficiency EPA filter (particulate filter)
The EPA filter filters airborne bacteria, smoke and dust particles down to 1 μm in size to 99% or more. Combined with a multi-function filter, the EPA filter can filter out microscopic particles larger than 20 nanometers in diameter, including bacterial mold, dust, allergens and some viruses. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it can filter particles of coronavirus, avian flu virus, influenza virus and legionella bacteria larger than 20 nanometers.
6. phase:
Sterilising UV light
UV sterilisation using 365 nanometre UV wavelengths can kill large numbers of airborne bacteria. A UV disinfection lamp is typically used to disinfect air, surfaces and water. It can purify the air, remove musty odours and produce limited amounts of anions. This keeps the air fresh and prevents the spread of viruses in the air or on surfaces.
7. phase:
Ionization
Using strong electric fields, ionisers can charge individual air particles and thereby increase the concentration of ions in the room air. The charged particles are more reactive and can destroy odour molecules and other pollutants. At the same time, differently charged particles attract each other and form larger clumps that sink to the ground faster and are more easily filtered out of the air.
